There are altogether 13 teaching labs in the Engineering faculty. Some teaching labs are also used for research purposes.
All the labs are located in the Beta block on levels 1,2 and 3.

Microprocessor Lab

The Microprocessor lab is mainly used for Computer Based Teaching (CBT) experiments, and microprocessor and microcontroller experiments.

Multimedia Computing

The Multimedia Computing lab is equipped with 40 Compaq Pentium III Personal Computers, 1 ACER ALTOS 1100 NT Server and 1 HP LaserJet printer for general computing purposes. It is also equipped with multimedia equipment such as digital cameras, video players with cameras, and television sets.
Software available includes Visual C++, Acrobat 4.0 and Matlab.

Electronic Lab

The Electronic Lab is generally used for conducting basic electronic experiment in the Beta and Gamma year. It is equipped with 30 electronic workbenches with oscilloscope, power supplies, digital multimeters and function generators. Physical electronic experiments are also conducted here such as the I-V Characteristics of Solar Cell, Measurement of Conductivity and Hall Effect of a Semiconductor.

Multimedia Design Lab

This laboratory is used for general computing purposes and the development of multimedia software. It is equipped with 1 unit of Acer Altos 1100 Server, 40 units of Compaq Pentium II personal computer, scanner and HP LaserJet printer. The lab has access to Macromedia Authorware software for the development of multimedia software and Cold Fusion studio for web application development.

PCB Workshop

This laboratory is used for undergraduate and postgraduate students to fabricate printed circuit boards [PCB] . The lab is equipped with dark room facility, Etch/Wash Tank, Dry Film Laminator, UV Exposure Unit, oscilloscope, function generator, and multimeter. It is also the one-stop centre for the supply of electronic components.
